In October 2023, a man comes into the police station in Alingsås and reports his 15-year-old son, Henrik, missing. Henrik is a promising hockey player in Västra Frölunda and it is not like him to just disappear. A massive search operation is launched and the whole of Alingsås is committed to finding Henrik. Five days after the report, divers find the boy's dead body in the Säveån River, badly mutilated by stabbing. The Alingsås police investigation team is now faced with the challenge of finding the murderer.
