Theeradeth Wonpuapan

Kane Theeradej Wongpuapan is a Thai actor, director and producer born in Bangkok, Thailand. His father is a director and his mother is a screenwriter. IIn 1985, at the age of seven, he began acting at the suggestion of his father, who, as the director, cast him in the drama "The Six Siblings" (หกพี่น้อง). After his following role, he then stopped acting in order to attend school. After briefly studying towards a bachelor's degree at ABAC University, he went on to study at the Brooks Institute of Photography in California, USA. However, two years later, due to the 1997 Asian financial crisis, he had to leave school and return to Thailand.

Upon his return, Kane successfully re-started his career as a model, presenter, and actor. In 2009, he starred in the film "Bangkok Traffic Love Story" (รถไฟฟ้า มาหานะเธอ), which had the highest profit of any movie that year. In 2008, Kane was appointed as a Thai special ambassador of UNICEF.

On October 25, 2007, Kane married actress Noi Bussakorn. In 2008, Noi gave birth to their first son, Kun. Their second son, Jun, was born in 2010.

He received the Golden Television Awards for Best Leading Actor a record four times for his work in "Ai Ma Lek" ( ไอ้ม้าเหล็ก; 2002), "Song Rao... Nirundon" (สองเรานิรันดร; 2005), "Sawan Biang" (สวรรค์เบี่ยง; 2008) and "Soot Sanaeha" (สูตรเสน่หา; 2009).
