Luciane Buchanan

Luciane Buchanan (born July 18, 1993) is a New Zealand actress of Tongan and Scottish descent. She earned a Bachelor of Arts in Drama and Psychology from the University of Auckland. Buchanan first gained attention on New Zealand television in The Blue Rose and Filthy Rich, then broke out internationally as Tripitaka in the Netflix series The New Legends of Monkey. She rose to prominence with her lead role as Rose Larkin in the Netflix thriller The Night Agent. More recently, she stars as Queen Kaʻahumanu in the Apple TV+ historical drama Chief of War.
