Amanda Collin

Amanda Collin is a Danish actress, born on March 4, 1986, in Rungsted, Denmark. She trained in the Meisner technique at New York's William Esper Studio and later joined the ensemble of Denmark's Mungo Park Theatre. Collin earned recognition as Marie in Christian Tafdrup's relationship drama A Horrible Woman, winning the Bodil and Robert awards for Best Actress. Her Danish film credits include Department Q: A Conspiracy of Faith, The Exception, Resin, Fathers & Mothers, The Quiet Ones, and The Promised Land. She gained international acclaim as the powerful android Mother, also known as Lamia, in Ridley Scott's science-fiction drama Raised by Wolves. Collin later portrayed Lady Jeyne Arryn, ruler of the Vale, in House of the Dragon. Her television work also includes Splitting Up Together, Kaos and Smilla's Sense of Snow, while her later films include Netflix's mystery thriller The Woman in Cabin 10.
