Domingos de Oliveira

Domingos José Soares de Oliveira was a Brazilian actor, director, film and theater playwright, poet and filmmaker. Graduated in Engineering from ENE, he never worked in that area since, after becoming involved in amateur theater, he started writing and directing for cinema. He made two directing assistances for Joaquim Pedro de Andrade ("Manuel Bandeira, O Poeta do Castelo" and "Couro de Gato"). His first feature film, titled All Women in the World, was made in 1966, and he has already authored more than 20 plays and directed several films.
