After performing in Vegas on Christmas Eve, the Partridges start the drive home. The bus breaks down in a town with one inhabitant. Disappointed about being away from home for Christmas, the prospector tells them a Christmas story.

Driving home after a tour, the Partridges stop for a picnic on a country road and meet a young woman who likes to travel alone.

After Chris and Tracy are scolded for leaving a mess, they decide to run away... to Ruben's apartment causing mayhem.

After seeing some experimental films at a theater, Keith says he can do better than any they saw. Keith pulls out the movie camera and begins filming various random clips. Danny becomes his partner. The premiere is not what he expects.

It's a battle of the sexes as Shirley and Laurie prove to their male chauvinist counterparts to be better able to handle the wilderness.

Danny retaliates when the object of his affections admits that she is in love with Keith.

As the Partridges start their vacation, the bus breaks down in a small town. The locals want them to do a benefit show to help Native Americans build a school. The mechanic finds ways to delay fixing the bus until the day of the show.

The Partridges hire a psychic performer for Tracy's birthday party. Keith and Danny keep asking for predictions about their lives, so the psychic asks them to help his failing business from a foreclosure.

Its role reversal time in the Partridge household as Keith takes home economics and Laurie takes auto shop. Laurie embarrasses Keith by defending him from the school bully.

The family travels by bus to Sacramento for Shirley to accept a Mother of the Year award. Taking the back road leads them to wrong turns, lost wallet, traffic tickets, and other annoyances.

A princess flies into town with the express purpose of having a date with Keith. They find it difficult to act natural around each other until the princess tells all to relax. Keith and the princess manage to slip away from bodyguards.

Danny wants to lose weight to impress a girl, so Shirley puts him on a diet. After a week, he weighs more because of cheating. Ruben teases him about no will power so they decide to tackle their own vices - Danny's food and Ruben's smoking.

Snake, a motorcyclist friend of the Partridges, visits and wants help with the woman he loves.

The school psychologist suggests a radical treatment to get to the bottom of Danny's behavioural problems.

Reuben manages a new twin singing act, but the boys have a crush on Laurie. They won't perform until they get a date from her.

Danny seems to be getting into a lot of trouble at school, and decides to drop out. Shirley and his teacher discuss how to prevent this. They decide to let him think he has dropped out, and find out what the real world is like.

Laurie runs for homecoming queen so she can speak her mind on discrimination, Keith has a male friend compete against her.

Danny pretends to be Jewish to date a rabbi's daughter.

When an old flame sails into town from the navy, Shirley is smitten, and everyone approves . . . except for Danny, who suspects the sailor has a girl in every port.
