After hairstylist Naboon loses her job and finds out that her boyfriend betrayed her, she heads to Chiang Mai to escape, but she ends up nearly drowning. When she wakes up, however, she's shocked to find that she's somehow transported centuries in the past – and she's now inhabiting the body of the frail Princess Fongnuan. As she tries to adapt to her new life, she finds that her unconventional, "modern" ways of thinking set her apart from everyone around her, attracting the attention of two princes: the kind Prince Saen Thep, her sister's fiancé, and the stern Prince Mueang Fah. Their contrasting personalities pull her in different directions as she faces the challenges of survival and love.
