I don't think this episode is true to Georgie's character. It doesn't match with how we've seen him for this series and a lot of the ending of Young Sheldon.
Once again Georgie is the best character in the show. Which is nice. So often it seems the main characters are insufferable and it's the supporting cast that makes the show good. Georgie and Dale were the best parts of this episode. Meemaw was easily the worst.
I know it was done for a joke but now I REALLY want to see Emily Osment in a 1950s noir film, see.
