The Long Race

Tycoon Gao Sheng has long monopolized motorcycle racing events, reaping huge profits through rigged gambling rings and shady gray-area deals. Three years ago, he secretly tampered with Lin Ye's racing car. Chen Mo spotted the vehicle abnormality right before the race, but with no time for full troubleshooting, he insisted on swapping cars with Lin Ye to protect his partner, only to end up severely disabled and forced to retire from the racing circle. The two have since cooperated covertly, one operating in the open and the other in the shadows, biding their time and quietly collecting evidence for a total comeback. Three years later, Gao Sheng repeats his old trick, sneaking in to modify the racing car overnight to murder his target. Lin Ye, who was already well-prepared, relied on his superb driving skills to easily break the deadlock, win the championship, and gain public opinion and discourse advantage. Qin Kai, a racer who has long been coerced and controlled by Gao Sheng, witnesses Lin Ye defy the odds again and again. Struggling between his conscience and fear, Qin Kai finally defects after hearing the murder order and hands over the critical recording. Lin Ye, Chen Mo, and Lao Zhou now hold old physical evidence, combined data, physical proof, and recordings, fully confirming all of Gao Sheng's crimes.
