It was always going to be a tall order to get that balance of British wit and humor with the seriousness of a car show. Clarkson, Hammond and May in that respect are as rare as Nessie sightings. Do I like these new 3 guys? No? Am I going to give them a chance to find their footing and make it their own show? Yes, yes I am. It wasn't a great or even good 1st show. Their interaction with Clarkson had more excitement than the whole show. Not even a Jensen Button cameo could save it. However, I have hope. It either gets better or it gets worse. Good luck guys.

I watched all six episodes, it doesn't get better, it gets worse, much worse.

Never has a show fallen so far from its origins. Apart from the very odd Francis, the other two hosts are dire, devoid of personality, charm or intellect. The bearded Canadian, shouts wooo all the time and the other guy comes across as a mumbling half wit, neither have anything to offer. The show itself comes across as witless and lacking any imagination, even the later Top Gear episodes hosted by half wits, has more humour and better storylines.

Jeremy said "don't fuck it up", well they did, six times.

My advice, fire two of them and replace them with the ever angry Chris Harris, as he and Francis have good chemistry as seen in that fixing a train show, and also, as you need a thicko to balance things out, perhaps Rob Becket. The thing here is opposing dynamics as with Richard, Jezza and James, and not all "let's get along and sit around singing kumbaya".

I want, insanity, intellect, cruelness, kindness and utter madness, not this motoring version of Blue Peter.

I ask myself, where is the turn on a sixpence wit and putdowns that the original trio gave us, where is the cleverness, stupidity and joy of the original? Gone.

This new charmless, flat as piss on a plate iteration needs to be rejigged, with hosts that understand the concept of fun, this is too contrived and honestly, dumb as shit.

A complete and utter letdown and not worth your time, go watch "the boys" do Bolivia, Vietnam, Namibia or the ever wonderful Burma, not this travesty that they have concocted to milk the "grand Tour"name.
