Set in Eito, Hinomoto, during a turbulent era later known as the end of the Edo period, a strength-seeking boy drawn to Battle Spirits named Ku Bashin crosses paths with a mysterious, promise-bound man known as the "Assassin" (Zetsu Ajara), intersecting their paths and setting history in motion.
