Mr Digby Darling - Episode Guide

Roland Digby's wife is a bit different - home is where the wife and children are, and his office is where peace is. No wonder, with a secretary like Thelma to warm slippers and cook breakfast.

Thelma, bachelor girl secretary to Mr Digby, starts knitting baby clothes and borrowing prenatal care books. Could it be....?

An amazing idea strikes Thelma. Husbands and wives have stay-at-home holidays. What about stay-in-the-office holidays for bosses and secretaries?

Thelma isn't one of those possessive, jealous secretaries. With a boss as dilapidated as Mr Digby, she has no need to be. But of course the dilapidated type can be appealing to some girls...

When Mr Digby and Thelma invite former canteen manageress Ma Lightfoot to share their office there is a real family feeling. To Thelma Ma is a mother - but to Mr Digby she is an interfering mother-in-law.

Mr Digby has to meet the local magistrate on charges of being drunk and disorderly.

Thelma Teesdale does for Mr Digby what any loyal secretary would - cooks his breakfast, darns his socks, and saves him from the threat of unemployment. How many bosses would object to being locked in the office with their secretaries over the weekend? Well, Mr Digby might...

Being a loyal secretary Thelma will try anything to get her boss that new office chair he's set his heart on.

To get Mr Digby the top job at "Rid-O-Rat" Thelma will use fair means or foul - but fair means take too long...

When a secretary feels she is being taken for granted, it's time she found someone else's socks to darn.

Sudden wealth transforms Mr Digby into a new man - and Thelma can't wait for the return of the old one.

Thelma suspects there is something wrong when Mr Digby starts behaving strangely - or, rather, more strangely than usual...

When the Christmas office party is cancelled because of Mr Digby even Thelma forgets it's the season of good will.

The highly incompetent Digby and his ever-faithful secretary Thelma find their 9-5 `domestic' harmony threatened when a new manager arrives - who looks like sweeping them clean out of Rid-o-Rat and straight into the nearest labour exchange.

Can Thelma and Digby stem the tide of the super rats? And what sort of rat wears a green ballet dress or is called Kes?

Rid-O-Rat is about to launch a sensational new pesticide. Thanks to Digby, the secret formula suddenly vanishes. Thelma turns safebreaker extraordinaire to save the situation.

Thelma has a long-established domestic routine for running Mr Digby's office, but Digby's home has quite a different atmosphere...

Always a bridesmaid, never a bride. That would seem to be Thelma's fate. But Digby's domestic bliss is suddenly threatened when Thelma hears wedding bells and gives Rid-o-Rat her notice.

Beauty is only supposed to be skin deep. When Mr Digby decides to organise a Miss Rid-o-Rat beauty contest, it gets under secretary Thelma's skin. She sets out to sabotage the proceeds by forming a militant feminist movement - but gets very little support.
