Beautiful Malice

A girl from Sichuan, Zhang Zhi'an, moves to South Korea to study abroad and stumbles into an elite chaebol academy — landing in Class F, the lowest tier of the social ladder. Here, everyone lives by a strict code of power drawn along lines of birth and family background, and the whole class is steeped in outright malice. But an airhead is the natural antidote to a schemer: armed with her uniquely Chinese brand of relaxed, unbothered obliviousness, Zhang Zhi'an doesn't just fail to sense the hostility around her — she's far too busy wanting to study to care. Then, one day, she lets slip a glimpse of explosive martial-arts skill that floors the entire class. Slowly but surely, in her own distinctly Chinese way, she begins steering the lost, rebellious students of Class F back toward learning — kicking off a fiery, rule-breaking high-school journey in which she climbs step by step through the academy, turning Class F into a name to be reckoned with.
