Tomorrow, Thursday February 18th, we'll be performing extensive maintenance on our infrastructure. If everything goes according to plan there won't be any downtime, though the site will temporarily be in read-only mode. While in read-only mode you can access all pages normally but you won't be able to make edits, (un)follow shows, post on the forums, etc.

I see and this is due to you guys defaulting the api to use https now?
That's not coming from our API. My guess is that your code has a string_replace("http", "https") somewhere that's falsely triggering now.

I can retrieve https://api.tvmaze.com/shows/1/images and the links therein just fine; you'll have to be more specific.
I have done a lot of testing and there is no errors in my PHP or Nginx logs.
I even reverted the development site back six months to check.
Something is definitely awry.
I can pull Synopsis and Episode Screencaps no problem. The issue is pulling the Posters and Cast images.
