Arthur Timothy Read

Arthur Timothy Read, taken from Curiosity Shop's Aarthur The Aardvark, likes to read and advocates for others to read. The setting is supposed to be mostly in the Library, but they seem to forget all about it. There are some episodes he is not even in. He has often thrown temper tantrums, demonstrated belligerence, as well as malevolence.  He has a lot to learn such as never attack your siblings, do not steal their melodies, not treat his father as a slave, stop driving wedges between his friends, and that his jokes are offensive. He likes dogs, but people grow tired of his stories about them.  However, he is remorseful most of the time he makes these mistakes. Arthur likes to play musical instruments, especially the piano. He is afraid that people condemn him if he makes mistakes during performance, but instead people commended him for improvising around the mistakes. He worries about his friends such as when Buster goes on long trips. He was worried that Francine died. Francine remembers how brave Arthur is and decided to make a movie where Arthur rescues her. Arthur takes his school assignments too seriously, and digs up the yard one time. Another time Arthur hurts himself while going to The Dump. Arthur got lost by missing his bus stop, and another time was afraid to cross the street after feeling guilty for teasing his sister. One time he won a Spelling Bee. Another time he competed on a game show. And there are times where he falls apart completely. He cheated in No Guessing, and had an emotional outburst during Checkers. Despite Buster having terrible eating habits, Arthur suffers from health problems more often. He experienced rapid weight gain, and one time The Brain took notice in a simulation where he said Aliens would not eat Arthur since he has high cholesterol. After that, Arthur demonstrated that he is very sensitive about it. There are numerous times that Arthur's unexpected outbursts attracted the attention of The Tough Customers, who gladly enjoy "teaching lessons".
