A tech mogul and entrepreneur, Nick had created an app for ZipCouch, a home-hosting business. Nick convinced 26 investors to put money into the company, hoping it would fail so he could keep the money. However, when ZipCouch unexpectedly took off, Nick killed one of his hosts and then an investor who wanted his money back. He then leaked the murders to the press so he would be forced to shut down the company and keep the funds. His plan failed when Kirsten and her half-sister ivy caught on to his plan and confronted him at a press conference.
