A magical being banished to a hell dimension millennia ago, Godmother appears innocent and benevolent. However, her charm and talent for singing conceal a hideous creature thirsting for revenge on all humans because of the ones who banished her. She is also tired of being released only to serve young girls by fulfilling their selfish wishes, and seeks to turn them to her own ends.
Godmother is similar to a genie in that she can only exercise her vast magical powers when called upon by the person she is bonded with. If she is bonded to someone, they share her fate so if she is returned to Hell they go with her. Despite Godmother's hatred of the Hell realm, she would rather face that than the being coming for Constantine.
Later, it is revealed that Fairy Godmother's real name is Tabitha, and that she's either a demon or a witch of vast power. She is the demon Neron's lover despite his relative youth, and tricks Nora into taking on her "Fairy Godmother" powers to grant wishes for a specific human.
