Muffy Crosswire

Mary Alice "Muffy" Crosswire, derived from Muffy Tepperman from Square Pegs, is a wealthy student. However, she is not nearly as important as she thinks she is. Even her family says that they are Plain Folks, practicing Entrepreneurship only recently, while their friends The Frenskys have practiced Entrepreneurship generations ago. Even so, The Crosswires are highly affluent. Their culture is also highly stereotypical, such as consuming various poisons such as a diet of meat, dessert, and alcohol. Their main staff member, James Bailey, is an artist of which deserves to be in a museum. Occasionally, she questions the selfishness of her friends. The rest of the time she is completely selfish. Even her parents are concerned about her attitudes. Muffy has the same middle name as Francine. The Crosswires and The Reads go way back. In addition to both of their parents being employed by The Crosswires (not unlike Wait Till Your Father Gets Home), Arthur has the same birthday as Muffy. Also, D.W. and Muffy get along fabulously together.
