When Nia sneaks to school wearing makeup against Raven's wishes, she draws the attention of the eighth grade girls who invite her to hang out.
I'm glad to see that they're bringing some lessons into the show like they used to. I'll always remember the episode of That's So Raven when Raven thought she caught her younger brother smoking. A lot of kids shows nowadays tend to stray away from topics like that, as if they don't think kids will understand or be able to sit through serious moments amidst the comedy. And while makeup is in no way comparable to smoking, it is something that is hugely debated between parents and kids nowadays with kids being almost expected to wear it earlier and earlier to fit in.
