The team discovers what Coulson has been hiding from them, as the monoliths' explosion causes a rift to a fear dimension that threatens to destroy them all.

A drone enters the chamber where the beacon exploded. There's a crack in reality. After a moment Lash steps out and destroys the drone. Coulson and Melinda check on Fitz, who says that he's fine and blames himself for not paying attention to the beacon or suspecting it was a trap. He tells them that he sent a drone down, and the elevator stopped on Level 27. The elevator opened on a vast forest, and Fitz explains that it exists inside of the Lighthouse.
