While enforcing an unsanctioned raid on a human trafficking ring in Los Angeles, Bill finds an old informant of his who is in trouble. After returning from her leave and eager to get back into the field, Charlie is assigned to patrol with Joseph, the one person she would like to avoid. Meanwhile, as Bill continues to disagree with the board on how to best run the department, Jerry does Bill a favor in order to get on his good side.

I agree...Fox is doing to this show what ABC has done to The Rookie...just left them to rot and in horrible time slots. Both good shows. This one gets better with just about every ep.
I feel kind of this series has fallen under the radar...now its in the same time slot as Greys Anatomy!!
After a shaky pilot , it's delivered some very strong/enjoyable episodes.
So i hope it survives..and if we have to have a low episode count to keep quality high ..thats fine.
