Episode 7

David is forced to rescue Graham from a mine shaft on the Moors, but afterwards they fight - with fatal consequences; David and Virginia share the terrible secret. Pauline has been arrested, and Alison can't be sure about her innocence, so Marion resigns in disgust. When Alison is told that Graham has 'skipped town', she decides to leave the country and look after herself. But there's more terrible news in store, when Megan makes a decision, Virginia's guilty secret is revealed and she disappears. David and Alison are thrown together by this crisis and David realises that Alison's the only person he can trust, so he confesses his terrible secret - he's killed his own brother.
