Sturgill Simpson

I enjoy most of Noah's stuff, but, unfortunately, he suffers from the same malady Jon Stewart did. I.E. in a piece that already is funny enough as it is, like Stewart, he has to throw in totally irrelevant and unrelated pieces in the attempt or hope to make it funnier. Unfortunately, the effect is usually the opposite as well as distracting from the theme of the piece and making it both less funny and losing the point of the piece. I hoped that as he gained confidence that he would stop doing them but, sadly, he seems to be far more enamoured of these irrelevant insertions than Stewart was.
