Jiří Matura (credited as Jiri Matura) is a Czech production designer, art director, and architect. He has studied Architecture at the University of Applied Arts in Vienna, Austria and at the Technical University of Liberec in the Czech Republic.
After working as an architect, his passion for film brought him to the world of commercials and film studios. Matura is active as a freelance production designer and art director based in Prague. He has gained his experience working with recognised designers as K.K. Barrett, Claude Pare, Jan Roelfs, Sonja Klaus, John Beard, Steven Jones Evans, David Lee, Kevin Phipps and many great directors. Since 2009 he has designed international projects including movies, series and commercials.
