A native of Vancouver, BC, Daryl Shuttleworth got bit by the acting bug at elementary school. He attended the University of Victoria and graduated from the National Theatre School of Canada (Montreal) in 1983. Stage appearances across Canada include leading roles at Neptune Theatre (Halifax), Theatre New Brunswick, Centaur Theatre (Montreal), National Arts Centre (Ottawa), Canadian Stage (Toronto), Blyth Festival, Manitoba Theatre Centre, Globe Theatre (Regina), Alberta Theatre Projects (Calgary), Citadel Theatre (Edmonton), Theatre Northwest (Prince George), Vancouver Playhouse and Arts Club (Vancouver) and the Belfry Theatre (Victoria).
