Born in Flint, Michigan, Nancy Kovack was a student at the University of Michigan at 15, a radio deejay at 16, a college graduate at 19 and the holder of eight beauty titles by 20. Her professional acting career began as a 'Glea Girl' on the Jackie Gleason show in the early 1950's. She debuted in the 1960 film Strangers When We Meet, and is remembered for guest appearances in series such as Bewitched, Star Trek, Mannix and Cannon. She retired from her successful career shortly after her marriage to orchestra conductor Zubin Mehta in 1969.
