Confessions Recap

At the metro subway station, the police cordon off the area after two guards are murdered there. Dinah arrives and Bingsley shows her the two corpses. They were beaten to death, and Dinah wonders where the suspects are.

Later at the station, Dinah enters the interrogation room and tells Oliver that his team was on-site and he had better answer her questions. Oliver says that the real danger is still out there, and explains that the team went to a subway platform to stop terrorists. Bingsley points out that two people died, and Dinah says that they found two new emerald arrows at the scene. Oliver says that the new Green Arrow was there, and admits that she's her half-sister Emiko Adachi and belongs to the Ninth Circle. He tells Bingsley that the Ninth Circle is beyond the SCPD, and Dinah says that she didn't know about the attack and wonders why. Oliver says that things moved fast after Dinah told them about Dante.

-----

Three days earlier, Dinah arrives at the bunker and says that the police found Dante's body. They figure that they have to stop Emiko from using the bioweapon that the Ninth Circle took, and Felicity says that the Ninth Circles needs a thermal fogger to disperse Cygnus. Oliver and Diggle head to Aerodyne Initiatives where the fogger is, while Dinah checks in with the detectives and Rene stays with Felicity.

At Aerodyne, Oliver and Diggle tell the CEO Jason Toth that they've been targeted by the Ninth Circle. Toth insists that their security is sufficient and they have it covered, and walks away.

-----

Oliver says that Felicity confirmed that the Ninth Circle was paying off Toth. They didn't tell Dinah because they couldn't confirm it until later. She points out the evidence against Oliver, and Oliver says that she knows he didn't kill the two men. Bingsley points out that he killed before and was in prison five months ago. Dinah asks who did it, and figures that there was someone there besides the team Oliver admits that there was.

-----

Arsenal joins the team as they head out.

-----

Dinah brings Felicity in and Bingsley notes that the security footage disappeared. Felicity says that she knows nothing about it, and Bingsley figures that she's covering for Oliver. She explains that she was going to tell Dinah about Roy's involvement after they brought in the Ninth Circle, and they needed someone the Ninth Circle didn't know. Dinah points out that Ray's trail disappeared after he got free from Ricardo, and Felicity suggests that he took some time off.

-----

Roy enters the bunker and everyone greets him. They explain that Emiko is Oliver's half-sister and they want to get her into custody before they tell Thea.

-----

Felicity explains that the team called in Roy after they found out that Toth was dirty, and they needed someone with Roy's parkour skills to break into Aerodyne and get the fogger.

-----

Arsenal enters the R&D vault with the fogger and bypasses the laser tripwires, then shoots to turn off the alarm. He sees Emiko and her men meet with Toth and opens fire, and Emiko dodges his first arrow attack. Arsenal attacks them and fights Virgil, who holds his own and escapes. Arsenal tells Oliver that they lost the fogger.

-----

Felicity points out that Roy would have committed a felony, and says that the two fatalities weren't their fault. She explains that the team split up to check the two locations at the station, while she and Arsenal went to the switch room.

-----

Arsenal and Overwatch enter the room and Felicity hooks up her computer to shut down the ventilation path. As Overwatch spots the two guards on the monitors, she tells Arsenal not to let them in. He goes to deal with them, and Overwatch locks the door.

-----

Dinah asks Felicity if she can account for Arsenal's whereabouts.

-----

Overwatch hears gunshots in the hallway.

-----

Felicity admits that she doesn't know where Arsenal were when the guards were killed.

The police bring Roy in and ask what happened after Emiko escaped with the fogger. He says that they went to the stadium after Felicity determined it was a target.

------

Arsenal fights the Ninth Circle agents but there were too many of them and they knocked him out. When he came to, the police were on the scene and the guards were dead.

-----

Roy wonders which side Dinah is, on and she says that she's on the side of the truth and asks what really happened.

When the police bring Diggle in, he says that he found Roy and then heard the gunshots. Dinah points out that he always puts other people's lives before his own, and warns that not everyone is worth it. She notes that he has blood on his sleeve, and Diggle tells them what happened.

-----

Spartan and Wild Dog go to the ventilation shaft and Emiko shoots at them and then runs. Wild Dog goes after her.

-----

Diggle explains that he went to the ventilation shaft and found Roy unconscious, before he heard the gunshots. He ran toward the shots but by the time he got there, the guards were dead. Diggle got blood on his sleeve when he checked their pulse. Bigley asks where Rene was, and Diggle says that he found Rene standing over their bodies.

Dinah has Rene brought in and he says that it isn't his first time that he's been falsely accused of a crime. Dinah points out that their two primary suspects are Emiko or Rene. She notes that she's warned the team against trusting Emiko before, and asks what happened. Rene says that Felicity traced Cygnus' signature to the station.

-----

At the bunker before they leave, Oliver asks Rene if he's good. Rene says that when he first met Emiko, she only worried about helping the Glades and avenging her mother. He figures that Emiko turned against Dante because family matters, and wonders if she's doing it because of how Robert abandoned her. Oliver says that a certain point Emiko needs to take responsibility for her actions, and she's made her choice... and Rene needs to make his.

-----

Dinah asks why they found Rene's fingerprints on the murder weapon, a pipe, and Rene says that he went after Emiko.

-----

Wild Dog finds Emiko and removes his mask. He says that it's not too late, and Emiko says that she doesn't need his help and she's going to take everything from the Queen's. Rene holsters his gun and says that finding her mother's killer means more to her than the Ninth Circle. Emiko tells him that she leads the Ninth Circle, and she shoots an arrow into his hand and runs off.

-----

Rene says that he heard the gunshots and found the bodies. Dinah figures that he's not telling them something, and Rene says that someone else got to the platform first.

-----

When he arrives at the subway platform, Rene sees Oliver standing over the bodies with the pipe.

-----

Rene tells Dinah that it was Oliver, and she has Oliver brought back in. When he arrives, Dinah demands the truth. Bingsley figures that the guards got in Oliver's way and he killed them. Dinah asks for the truth.

-----

The team arrive at the station and Oliver goes to the second target. He takes out the device as Virgil plants it, and the agents attack while he escapes. He finally manages to defeat them and disarm the fogger. Oliver hears the gunshots and goes to investigate, and finds the two bodies.

-----

Oliver tells Dinah that Emiko killed them.

Afterward, Dinah lets Oliver go. Bingsley figures that something doesn't feel wrong, but Dinah points out that they have nothing to hold him on and Pollard agrees.

Back at the bunker, Dinah tells the team that Pollard bought it and the police believes Emiko killed the guards. They figure that it wasn't easy for Dinah, and she says that if anyone finds out what they did then the team's partnership and her job are over. Oliver says that it was the only way.

-----

The team arrive at the station, including Black Canary. They split up and everything happens as they described, with Black Canary helping Oliver. Arsenal wasn't knocked out and chased one of the agents. When the two guards intervened, getting off a few shots, Arsenal attacked them and beat them to death. The others arrive, stop Arsenal, and confirm that the guards are dead.

-----

Oliver reminds Dinah that if someone on the team goes down then they'll all go down. Rene notes that Roy isn't part of the team, and Oliver insists that Roy is still a part of the team. He doesn't have any qualms about framing Emiko as a murderer, and figures that he already knows what happened with Roy. Oliver talks to Roy, who asks how he died. He recognized Roy's bloodlust from when Thea was resurrected by a Lazarus Pit. Roy explains that he was killed while defending Thea from the Thanatos Guild, and Thea and Nyssa brought him back with a Pit and then destroyed it. He figures that the Mirakuru and the Pit drove him crazy with bloodlust. Oliver says that Roy never has to ask him to cover for him.

Felicity calls them over to say that she has something. Facial recognition puts Emiko at an abandoned building outside of the city. They figure that it's the Ninth Circle headquarters, and Oliver says that they're all going after her as a team. As they leave, Felicity thanks Dinah for wiping the security footage and Dinah says that she thought it was her.

The next morning, the team breaks into the warehouse and split up to search the place. The walls are proof against thermal imaging. Oliver spots Emiko running away and goes after her, corners her, and says that it's over. Emiko says that the missing security footage has been sent to Bingsley, and Oliver realizes that she set them up. He shoots at her and discovers that there's a bulletproof glass wall between them. Emiko says that she's destroying Oliver's legacy and Robert's, and justice will finally be served. She explains that she knew the Gambit was rigged to explode, and didn’t warn Robert.

Emiko uses a remote to set off explosives through the warehouse and walks off. Overwatch tries to raise the team on the radio but gets no response.
