In episode one, Caroline visits Loch Lomond and the Trossachs, nestled in the South-West of Scotland. The park sits on the boundary between the highlands and the lowlands and it's an area steeped in the very best of Scottish lochs, scenery, wildlife and history. It is the largest national park in Scotland, stretching over 700 square miles.

Snowdonia National Park

This week, Caroline is in Wales at the Snowdonia National Park, best known for its spectacular scenery covering over 800 square miles of North Wales' mountains, valleys, forests and coasts. Mount Snowdon is the tallest mountain in Wales and climbing and hiking are popular activities. But the mountains are so beautiful that it's easy to forget they can also be treacherous.

New Forest National Park

This week, Caroline is in the New Forest for the final programme of the series. Placed between the counties of Hampshire and Wiltshire, William the Conqueror discovered the New Forest over 900 years ago. It is known for its ancient woods, open heaths, beautiful coastline and abundance of wild animals. Although at just 218 square miles, it is one of the smallest of the 15 National Parks.
