Popeye the Sailor (1960 - 1962) animated

JAGUARDOG wrote 7 years ago: 1

I just now submitted this show and added the following Note to the bottom of my submission. However if it is not seen or not read I am saying it again here.

NOTE - There have been 3 different Popeye cartoon shows I was using the correct IMDB # for this particular one tt0145628 but the site claims it is in use. This means someone used this number incorrectly on the wrong version please correct?

Thank you very much, Ron

The initial request using it was rejected and the 1960/1961 episodes were added to the show that started in 1933; Popeye

I have no idea what's correct though, sorry.

If the one here from the 1930's was rejected originally why does the site indicate the IMDB # is still in use on it? Those 1960 episodes need to be removed as it is a separate indepedent show!

Popeye the Sailor - 1933 - http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0024461/?ref_=fn_tt_tt_9 - This was NOT a series as it was a 1 episode only 7 min. long short

Popeye the Sailor - 1960 - 1962 - http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0145628/?ref_=fn_al_tt_8

The All-New Popeye Hour - 1978 - 1983 - http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0190897/?ref_=fn_tt_tt_18

The Popeye Show - 2001 - http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0401051/?ref_=fn_tt_tt_20

Popeye at tvdb.com - http://www.thetvdb.com/?tab=series&id=78435&lid=7 - 1933 to 1961 is a combination of 2 or more of the other Popeye versions as far as I can tell?

In total, 638 Popeye cartoons were produced between 1933 and 1988.

I really hate the way this site copy and pastes information. It does not understand how to make spaces between lines, paragraphs and runs everything together into a huge mess and we have to try and find a way to make it readable.
