I apologize if I've just missed finding this, but a couple of things that would be nice to have in the API:
MPAA ratings (Like PG)
Guest actors for an episode. I know I can get the series actors, but it would be nice to get the guests for a particular episode.
Director, Producer and Screenwriter
This would make it match up better with other search sources.

TV shows don't have MPAA ratings. Some networks have content ratings which are similar to the MPAA, but they're not always consistent between countries.
Guest actors for an episode can be and often are added.
Director can already be added to episodes.
Producer is under Other Crew.
Screenwriter isn't a credit that I've seen used except very rarely, at least in the U.S. and UK. "Screenplay" is sometimes used, often as a fancy movie-backgrounded term for "Teleplay." Basically, Tele = television, Screen = screen/movie. If it's a TV show then it's a teleplay even if they call it "screenplay."

So where would guest actors and director be for an episode. When I try http://api.tvmaze.com/shows/{ID}/episodes I don't see any actor/director info. And none of the embeds seem to work for http://api.tvmaze.com/episode/{ID}
You'd have to ask a staff member like David about the API coding, and if there are issues with it.
I can direct you to a specific page if you describe a specific episode. Here's one from last night:

But I don't know how that all appears in the API feed.
All available endpoints are listed on http://www.tvmaze.com/api. There's indeed currently no way to retrieve episode-level cast & crew; only the show-level ones.
That's what I thought, just thought I'd mention it for maybe a future update.
