Development Accounts

ivanskodje wrote 6 years ago: 1

I would love to have the ability to create a development account, in order to access the User level API and create a java wrapper (open source & free).

As it stands, it seems that I, as the developer, currently need to purchase my own subscription service in order to access and work on the API, even though I am not considered the "end user". Would it not be more beneficial for both the developers and TVMaze, that developers have access to work with and towards the user level API? :)

Hi Ivan,

That's not a bad suggestion at all.

As you've probably noticed already, We don't have development accounts at the moment.
It's possible however to subscribe to Premium for free the first 30 days.

Is this enough time for you to develop something for the time being?

best regards,

Jan

Ah, very nice. I have no idea if that will be enough time, as I work on this on my own out of personal interest.
However, now I can finish the regular API interaction and jump towards the user API section later once most is setup :)

Greetings!

Have anything been done about being able to access user API for development purposes? (dev account) :)

Hi ivanskodje,

Nop, the status is still the same. Did you use the trial version already?

best,

Jan
