Lately every 4th visit to the site I get pushed off to a “contest” page from various websites with a top level domain of .desi
I looked up the issue and it said it happens with injected JavaScript code either on the website or ads.

Thanks for notifying us. We started a/b tests this weekend with a new ad network. What you're describing is quite alarming and as a response we've disabled ads coming from this network until we have more information. Is there anything else you could share with us that could help investigate this further?
Are you still getting forwarded to the contest site? What are the exact domains, what browser were you using, when did this start to happen? ...
We're taking this very seriously.
If there are others experiencing issues with ads as well please let us know. The more info we receive, the better.
