What would you do, too many sesaons, missing episodes, general chaos.

If this is not a case of that the official website later reorganized episodes and seasons (then we stick to what they originally had), then we should follow exactly what the official website has.

For what it worth, the official website weren't using a season/episode numbering up until the middle of 2018. Airdates only.

I know that at the very least it was air dates only for the episode titles. Not sure about seasons, but I DO know that tvmaze is at the very least on the wrong season as far as what the show is now listing itself as. That should be the very least that should get fixed. Or am I wrong? It's been known to happen.

Ok, WM is back. It seems that not more than a year ago they were still using year-based numbering on the show's main page https://web.archive.org/web/20180519014127/https://abc.go.com/shows/what-would-you-do
Besides that they're still using a year-based enumeration in the episode guide https://abc.go.com/shows/what-would-you-do/episode-guide and episode pages https://abc.go.com/shows/what-would-you-do/episode-guide/2018-09/07-090718-coach-doesnt-want-student-athletes-kneeling-during-anthem

Considering all that I suggest we change the show to year-based numbering, as policy demands.

The only weird thing left with the show is all the episodes in the 2015 season. Not sure where all of those are from. I can't seem to find a list with all those dropping in december anywhere.

I couldn't find them, but the whole show is very weird. I can't find any mention of a full episode list anywhere. I went back with the way back time machine, but no matter what year/month I tried I couldn't find december 2015 listing. Not sure if they exist, but from some other year or what.

I suggest we delete everything that doesn't listed in the official episode guide. From what I could find, those extra episodes appears to be mash-ups, compiled from individual segments of different episodes.
For example, this one https://www.tvmaze.com/episodes/533989/what-would-you-do-2015-12-25-e-cigarettes-blind-faith seems to be stitched from the parts of https://abc.go.com/shows/what-would-you-do/episode-guide/2015-07/24-what-would-you-do-072415 and https://abc.go.com/shows/what-would-you-do/episode-guide/2015-08/07-what-would-you-do-080715
