The two messages are

They should disappear as soon as you click them.
Alternatively, you can click "view all" and manually mark them as read from there.

David, I was able to click on "view all" how do I manually mark them as read?

I do see notifications when I click on mail box, view all. I can clear out my mail box, sort of. Today, I had five messages, I could click and clear 3 messages in my mail box, except for two messages that say, "Your recent contributions have been reviewed and marked as verified. Your account is now cleared to continue making edits. Thank you! Those are the only messages that I can't get rid of in my mailbox.

David, I'm still trying to get help with removing the two messages from my mail box. Also, I do not see in "view all" how to manually mark mail, other than opening each mail delivered, which I have done. Please help.

David, there is nothing written on my notifications page anywhere that says, "mark as read."

Right. I thought you meant that there were unread notifications that you couldn't clear. But I suppose you simply mean there are messages in https://www.tvmaze.com/message/inbox that you cannot "clear". That is normal, we don't currently have an "archive" function for messages. The idea is that you can simply look at your notifications to see whether you have any new/unread messages. :)
