February updates

Hi everyone,

Firstly we'd like to mention (pun intended) that we've changed our way of working and we'll be communicating on a (semi) monthly basis regarding updates and new features.

We've just pushed some new things into production:

1. The most notable is probably the @mention feature which will trigger a notification towards a specific user. This is useful when you wish to draw someone's attention to a conversation or message. This can be used anywhere on the site and can be triggered by typing '@username'. (Go ahead, try it out.)
You can toggle your preference towards receiving further notifications on each individual page. May it be on the forum/articles/episode pages/...

2. Mail notifications will now display more detailed information and directly link to the subject instead of the notification list. This will make it much easier to follow up on things you're interested in.

3. Follow comment threads. Within articles or anywhere where you can leave comments. You can choose to stay up to date when new comments are posted.

4. The text editor has also been updated in order to better handle page layouts, @mentions and resolve text formatting issues.

That's it for now. Let us know what you think about these new changes in the comments below. Also if you're interested in knowing what we might be working on, go check out the pending features and vote on what we should focus on.

Sure, we can add that in a future update. If you have other suggestions we're always open to it. Just post them here. https://www.tvmaze.com/forums/2/suggestions

Thanks for the reply, @Jan !
