Giovanni is the self appointed head of the class for Mr. Brown. He is from Italy, a Chef, appears in every episode, and is highly proficient. He has successfully grasped not only English but also other languages such as Spanish, and functions more as a school employee instead of just a student since he had taught Juan how to understand English faster than Mr. Brown ever could. He resides with Max.
