Unaware of his wife's talents, Timothy is a kind and supportive husband who loves his wife and family. A man of the time though, he expects his wife to look after the children and the home. A minor civil servant, Timothy is on the verge of a big promotion Timothy fought in the Royal Artillery in WWII and nearly lost his life but managed to escape with an injury to his leg.
