Birger is Lars's older brother, and has the status that the older brother role gives. He lives in the belief that he is the next Kygo, and to maintain his confidence he makes his blinders bigger and bigger. When Lars gets money, it is not easy for Birger to live in the shadow of his little brother, so he does everything he can to assert himself and is easily offended.
