Aggressive, mercurial, with a buried sensitivity. New camp counsellor Harris joins the program as the right-hand man to camp director, Gibson. Submerged now in a world that he inadvertently built out of fear, Harris carries with him a truth he cannot right, nor let go of. Questioning the validity of the program, he is pulled in many directions; playing the part while aggressively funnelling his inner turmoil into his leadership. Harris ultimately develops a dark jealousy toward Scotty because Scotty is able to stand up to Gibson in ways where Harris is idled. Filled with his own self-hate, Harris erupts in violent outbursts. Harris is a corroded soul, with so much of his former self stolen from him.
