Karl Matlock

Karl Matlock is Knox's right-hand man, tasked with recovering the nuclear triggers when the scientist transporting them attempts to sell them to someone else. Once a soldier, he grew disillusioned after witnessing atrocities committed during a peacekeeping mission in the Democratic Republic of the Congo. He joined Knox because he believed in Knox's vision, but quits when the coup fails and Knox plans to detonate the warheads
