Ralph Wolf is a character spun off from Wile E. Coyote. His coworker is Sam Sheepdog. They apparently work for the same company despite being in competition with each other. During each shift change, you see the coworkers leave work and go home while others arrive. They use the same time clock. They spend their shifts looking after flocks of sheep. Ralph wants to capture the sheep. Sam's job is to protect the sheep from Ralph. The result is that Ralph is foiled by Sam easily. During their moments at the time clock, the two seem to be friendly with each other. It is possible that they do not function as enemies outside of work, or the banter could simply be peaceful cooperation in a work environment.
