Cain Dingle is the illegitimate son of Zak Dingle and his sister-in-law Faith, although it was believed he was the son of Zak's brother Shadrach for the first 26 years of his life. Cain is also the father of daughter Debbie along with sons Kyle, Isaac and Nate. Cain is the local hardman and has tormented and beaten his way through life during his time in Emmerdale.
