Jude Watson is a friend and colleague of Ashley Thomas. He arrives in the village to conduct Ashley's vow renewal with Laurel Thomas. He later takes over as vicar when Ashley resigns following a police caution. Jude left the village in January 2014 to take up a new post in Ripon. He was succeeded by Harriet Finch.
