Joe Butterfield is a loyal member of the 2nd Massachusetts Militia Regiment. Joe is one of Daniel Weaver's most trusted fighters in the 2nd Mass. Weaver leaves him with important tasks revolving around the preparation of the 2nd Mass. When the Masons are captured, Joe and Marty become hostile demanding to see the Masons.
