Last season, Tom made the decision to stay in Montana and live out his life as a mountain man. He then faced a brutal winter that brought predators to his doorstep and test his resolve. Preparing for the onset of a similar season, Tom and his brother Jack are on a backcountry hunt to secure winter meat early. Harvesting a 500-pound bull elk will provide Tom with enough meat to get through the winter.
