Harvey Lipschultz

Harvey Lipschultz is one of the many Jewish characters. There is a teacher that is On The Fence. The other one is Scott, who is least likely to be Jewish. Harvey is stereotypically Jewish. He talks with a thick accent, thinks lowly of Foreskins, and expresses similar ignorance towards people who are different from him. He is actually harmless, but has so much incompetence that he can not advance. He was a Social Studies teacher for more than 50 years and was told many times to adapt his teaching skills. He is protected immensely by Department Head Lauren. Subsequent Department Head Marla tolerates him, and eventually becomes friends. He has no hostility towards students. He tried to fire an elderly female teacher that was aroused by corporal punishment. He also intervened during a bullying situation, calling the other students a bunch of animals. He has the habit of landing on the wrong floor and arriving at the wrong classroom. There are occasional views that he expresses, such as how overrated Shakespeare is. However, he says he is the reincarnation of George Washington, and even answers every question about the subject with precision. He discovers that he has a Native African Black son, or as he says: "African American Black Coloured Negroes". He dated a very short time a woman but did not see her after that. She was pregnant with his child. Harvey spent decades with his wife (a different woman) but grew resentful about being unable to have any children with her and now is a widower. He was in for shock when all this time he has a son, who has at least one son, all of which married Native African Black women.
