Sara's uncle, firstborn-son and brother of Hetty, Olivia, Roger, and Sara's mother, Ruth. He is a farmer and lives with his family at King Farm, next door to Rose Cottage. He is typically more level headed and the voice of reason when Hetty is being uncompromising or stubborn.
