Lupin III

Lupin III, ostensibly Arsène Lupin III, and also known as Wolf, is the star of the franchise. He comes from a family of thieves, a highly skilled hacker and master of disguise, and is frequently depicted as both hairy and as agile as a spidermonkey. He is a bon vivant that participates in Cafè Society until he is on the hot pursuit of Interpol Officer Zenigata. Eventually, Lupin III becomes an expert Benevolent Gentleman Thief after facing enemies that threatened women & children, threatened Lupin III's recurring coworkers, or even threatened Zenigata, who has been accused of offering Lupin III immunity after working together to bring dangerous outlaws to justice. In the middle of the first anime Part, the characters were developed to form a close bond with each other. However, much of Fujiko's personality continues as being manipulative, spiteful, and double crossing. She goes as far to insist that she is a perfect role model for younger women. Being an expert master of disguise herself, she is the object of Lupin III's desires most of the time. Otherwise Lupin III is very confident in his abilities that he frequently announces his intentions in advance or leaves a note behind basically saying "Lupin III Was Here!!" signed with a drawing of his self portrait.
