A Spanish teacher and self-proclaimed bon vivant, Loren grew up in an affluent area of Denver and was afforded the opportunity to travel to Spain as a young adult. It's there that he studied the Queen's Spanish, the dialect he now teaches to his mostly Mexican students at Smoot High. In his free time, he enjoys mountain climbing and getting Chipotle with his boys.
