As a young boy, Leonid Kasparov Destroyovitch trained in ballet under the Great Stanistoff. However, a fondness for between-meal snacks proved Leonid's undoing and he was driven from the stage by taunts of "fat boy." He turned to a life of supervillainy and became Destroyo. Eventually he came to the city and attempted a scheme of nuclear blackmail and anthrax poisoning. He was foiled by the Tick and his friends when Batmanuel accidentally ran into Destroyo's car. Destroyo almost got the charges dropped against him, but Arthur learned of his past and taunted him into losing his temper in court.
Destrioyo has no innate suoperpowers, but is a criminal genius and wears a platinum-and-titanium exoskeleton of his own design. He is a master of psychology and has driven his guards to suicide on several occasions. However, Janet's personal issues prove too much for him when he attempts to drive her to despair.
